She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles LaKose and Verla LaKose (Gant); her son Russell Nicklas; her husband Fred; her son Gary; and her siblings, Irene, Valetta, Vernon and Dean.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donald LaKose (Maggie) and Susan Hepker; and her close friends, Don, Marty Norton, Aaron, Jessie O'Kane and Peggy Erceg. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
