It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chelo Collier of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Olivos and Mary Paula Hernandez; her husband Beryl Collier; her grandson Brian Bartunek; her brothers, John and Robert Hernandez; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Hernandez, Alice Hernandez, Margaret Miller, Jayne Christensen, Keith Collier and Golden Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Kistler (Pat) of Anamosa, Linda Trevino (Juan) of Ely and Paula Ekstrom (Mark) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Jaime Bartunek, Brooke Boetticher (Jeff), Tracy Adam (Will), Eric Voigt (Elisa), Ben Kistler (Shanelle) and Erin Knupp (Sam); her great grandchildren, Joslynn, Annabelle Ovel, Milo, Emerson Knupp, Jacob, Josh Bartunek, Metz and Henry Boetticher; her siblings, Rosie Casey (Kent) of Oelwein and Richard Hernandez (Tawni) of Palm Coast, Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Hernandez of Lakeville and Grace Hernandez of Waterloo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
