We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2022, at the age of 82, Cleo L Gentz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Manchester, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Christian and Anna Belle Gentz (Smith); his wife Gail Sigmund (Hoyt); his nephew Silas Gentz; and his sister-in-law Barbara Gentz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Hammes (Dan) of Newhall and Cindy Mudd (Mike) of Ely, Iowa; his stepchildren, Lori Gichard of Shorewood, Jeff Sigmund (Debra) of Walford, Mark Sigmund of Cody and Stacey Venegas (Rudy) of Tempe, Arizona; and his siblings, Don Gentz of Manchester, Phil Gentz (Norma) of Shellsburg, Reuben Gentz (Sue) of Merimac, Wisconsin and Patricia Orsten (Ken) of Wilmer, Minnesota. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family to be designated later.
