Cody Wade Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cody Wade of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cody Wade to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marley Wade and Pat Wade (Hess); and his niece Annie Wade. He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Wade (Renae) of Cedar Rapids and Sean Wade (Kelly) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Zoey Lewis, Eden, Shaelynn, Brycen and Makyla Wade; his great grandchild Maylee Lewis; his siblings, Dale Wade (Tona Kasey) of Cedar Rapids, LouAnn Christensen (Gary) of Clear Lake and Dave Wade (Jean) of Mt. Vernon, Iowa; and his close friend Tina Holmes of Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). The military honors will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
