He is survived by: his pets, Samantha and Willow; his stepson Glen Dargy (Tracy) of Shellsburg; his grandchildren, Noah Dargy (Alex) of Charleston, WV, Hanna Palazzolo (Matthew) of Arlington, TN, Seth Dargy (Miranda) of Shellsburg and Faith Dargy of Shellsburg; his great grandchild Hazel Jo Palazzolo; his siblings, Darlys Sylvis (Kevin) of Madison, SD, Kim Preston (Valerie) of Council Bluffs, IA, Denise Preston of Missouri Valley, IA, Lisa Jones of Auburn, NE, Kyle Preston (Kathy) of Missouri Valley, IA, Michelle Schommer of Norfolk, NE and Julie Stork (Chad) of Blair, NE; and his niece Sarah Walsh of Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
