He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; his siblings-in-law, Linda and John Behrens; and his parents, Albert Buelow and Esther Buelow.

He is survived by: his siblings, LeRoy, Wayne (Melonie), JoAnn Buck and Mary Behrens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Mercy Foundation, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and St John Lutheran Church, Center Point, Iowa.
