We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026, at the age of 75, Dale Marlin Braun of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Braun and Aletha Braun (Fingerson); and his pets, Hank and Jake. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Braun; his daughters, Sarah Braun and Katie Manternach (Tom); his granddaughters, Ella Griffin, Elizabeth Griffin, Brianna Koppes and Kaylee Manternach; his siblings, Jane Acker (David) and Doug Braun (Maryann); his 'El Gato' Cutie; and his caregiver Nicole.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dale's honor may be directed to the family and will be spread among causes important to him: environmental conservation and cancer programs.
