With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dale R. Stackhouse of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Dale may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dale touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene Stackhouse and Barbara Mary Stackhouse (Jackson); and his brother David Stackhouse. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Stackhouse (Lori) of Eldridge, IA and Andrew Stackhouse (Dorothy) of Bethlehem, PA; and his grandsons, Thomas, Robert, Eric and Mark Stackhouse.
A procession will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Rock Island National Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Impact Life, Davenport, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
