It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Eloy Sandoval of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Sandoval (Dan) and Mary Sandoval (Garza); his parents-in-law, Howard and Ethel Ackland; and his brother Richard Sandoval.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ackland; his children, Andrea Christensen (Jared) and Mark Sandoval; and his grandchildren, David, Anna, Michael, Grace, Matthew and Lucas Christensen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Daniel's memory may be directed to the Marion Methodist Church.
