He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Axtell and Irene Axtell; and his wife Carol Green. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Axtell of Dover and Susan Schmidt (John); his grandsons, Mark, John and Michael; and his sister Joanne Bowers (Don).
