David Buwalda Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2023, at the age of 73, David Buwalda of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Buwalda and Dorothy Buwalda (Cravens) of Marion; and his brother Harold "Roy" Buwalda. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hupton of East Moline, Illinois.; his children, Laura Olson (Alan) of New London, MN and Doug Buwalda of Fairfax, MN; his brother Alan Buwalda (Karen) of Harvest, AL; his grandchildren, Adam, Sara, Alex and Shayne; and his great grandchildren, Logann, Kelce and Hunter. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the family to be directed to one of Dave's favorite places, Kent Park.
