He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cejka and Amelia Cejka (Drahos); his siblings, Albert Cejka, Arthur Cejka (Sandra), Marth Mohler and Barbara Cejka; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Cejka and Janet Cejka.
He is survived by: his wife Christle Cejka; his children, John (Rose), Travis, David Jr., Dennis, Talon and Deanna Cejka; his siblings, Bernard Cejka, Rita Cejka, Teresa Cejka and Susan Molyneux; and his stepchildren, Rick Tschiggfrie (Lynn), Angela Lincoln (Jason) and Jeannie McNeal. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brosh Chapel (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
