He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Geppert and Mary Jo Geppert. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Geppert of Cedar Rapids and Angela Bower (Gerald Jr.) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Mikayla Geppert and Ryan Mudd; his brothers, Steve Geppert, Mike Geppert and John Geppert; the mother of his children Monica Ryan; and his close friend Chuck Barta.
