With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Hartle of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Hartle to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Hartle and Bernice Hartle; and his sons, Jonathan Michael and Matthew David. He is survived by: his son Nathan; his wife Barbara Glende of Cedar Rapids; his children, Steve (Ashley) of Greenwood Village, Colorado, Nate (Kris) of Andover, Minnesota and Emily Johnson of McKinney, Texas; and his siblings, Darrell (Suzanne), Gloria Karbo, Del (Joyce), Audrey Oldefendt (Gary), Roy (Vicky) and Dean (Rhonda). He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family, which will be used for replanting trees on Blake Boulevard and the surrounding neighborhood which Dave loved so much.
