It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Cole of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cole and Minnie Cole (Schobert); and his siblings, Edith Turkington, Kay Berge, Ralph, Tom and Donald Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Blozvich (Keith) of Cedar Rapids, Michael Cole (Dana), Mark Carter (JoEllen) of Walford and Sarah Crabtree (Daryl) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Grace Blozvich, Julia Love-Blozvich, Faith Buttitta, Gabe Cole, Jessica Crabtree, Josh Stephens, Lena Jurakic' and Jennifer Evans; his great grandchild Rosa Buttitta; and his brothers, Walter Cole of Cedar Rapids and Roy Cole (Susie) of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that was meaningful to Delbert.
