He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis M. Ditch and Mary Ditch (Snobl); his wife Donna Snyder; his siblings, Arnold, Stanley, Mary Shakespeare (Dave) and Leonard; and his son-in-law Jon Ruby.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Ruby-Bevill (Jim) of Robins, Nancy Hlas (Gene) of Swisher and Debra Ender (William) of Mt. Vernon; his brother Larry; and his sisters-in-law, Dolores Ditch, Pat Ditch, Sharon Ditch, Joanne Gilbaugh and Dorothy Ditch. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
