We bid farewell to Dell Rosa James of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Dell Rosa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vinette and Ruth Vinette (Landis); her son Scott James; her sister Barbara Moberg; and her brother-in-law Gene Moberg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lauri Kell and Maria Parish; her grandchildren, Erin Kell, Adam Kell and Sean Kell; her great grandchild Karmyn Fleming; and her pet Pirate.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund to be established in Dell's name.
