The family announces the passing of Delores J. McKenzie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa on September 26, 2026. Delores, born on June 16, 1938, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rada and Leatha Rada; her husband Lowell McKenzie; her daughter Danette Hofer; and her siblings, Ruth, Mary, Bob, Walter, Leonard and Lyle.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Ulfers (Dallas), Mark McKenzie (Nancy) and Margo Butler (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Ryan, Casey, Sarah, Stephanie, Steven, Travis, Adam, Lucas and Daphne; her brother Larry Rada (Cathy); and her son-in-law Jerry Hofer. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
