She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Nofal and Rosalie Nofal (Homsey); her husband Richard "Dick" Coates Sr.; and her sisters, Corinne and Laurice.
She is survived by: her children, Lynnette of Cedar Rapids, IA, Paula of Maricopa, AZ., Rich (Rita) of Cedar Rapids, IA. and Dena of Roanoke, VA; and her siblings, Mary, Sue, Gene and Bob. She is also survived by her children, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Memorial donations in Denise's name may be made to Hospice of Mercy.
