We are sad to announce that, on January 8, 2026, at the age of 76, Dennis VanAuken of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton VanAuken and Theresa VanAuken (Toeckes); his wife Susie VanAuken; and his sister Mary Toeckes. He is survived by: his children, Kerri VanAuken and Tim VanAuken; his brother Dick VanAuken (Dianne); and his sisters-in-law, Janie Macklin (John), Julie Keen (Eric) and Lori Fiebelkorn (Rod). He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews; 17 grand nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Saint Matthew Catholic Church.
