With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Virgil Gunn of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 2, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his aunt Bernadine; his uncle Gene Fisher; and his parent Bernice Bevins Preston. He is survived by: his wife Helen Schade of Cedar Rapids; his children, Mark Gunn of Cedar Rapids, Carla Anderson (Mark) of Melbourne, FL., Donna Bassett (Craig) of Cedar Rapids and Laura Kinney (Mike) of Cedar Rapids; his niece Kathy Dewitt of Kansas City, MO.; and his cousins, Judy Wicman (Gene) of Robins and Gary Fisher of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
