She was predeceased by: her husband Derry Palmer; her sister Betty Kistler; her son-in-law Nick Miller; her brother-in-law Harry Palmer; and her parents, Louis Dusil and Georgia Buresh Dusil.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Uthoff of Cedar Rapids, Karen Podhajsky (Lawerance) of Traer, Christine Miller of Waterloo and Dennis Palmer of Mt. Auburn; her siblings, Marcella Eckmeier (Bob) of Mt. Auburn and Ronald Dusil (Marlene) of Fairfax; her brother-in-law Malcom Kistler of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, April Kruckman (Tim), Lexa Ennis (Mike), Andy Uthoff, Brian Moline (Karinsa), Kara VandeKamp, Ross Miller (Tara) and Carmen Lappe (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Quinn, Luke, Ephraim, Gianna, Chloe, Alexander, Haven, Andilyn, Aubrey, Kinsley, Gemma and Damien; and her nieces, Dianne Scheel (Dave) and Michelle Oldfather (Bill). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, memorial may be directed to the family to be used for Dolores' favorite charities.
