He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Barrigar and Vivian "Vicki" Barrigar; his father-in-law Richard "Dick" Henry; his brother-in-law Robert Jadrnicek; his niece Candace Bassett; his nephew Nathan Mullin; and his close friend Gunnar Munson.

He is survived by: his wife Diann; his children, Jessica Stuer (Kyle), Jackson Barrigar (Maddy Salucka) and Victoria Barrigar (Coley Nauholz); his grandchildren, Jack Stuer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dean Stuer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Sloan Barrigar of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his sisters, Sharon Jadrnicek and Linda Krog (Dennis); his mother-in-law Sally Henry; and his in-laws, Glen Henry (Mary), Mary Ann Peterson, Carolyn Morgan (Charlie) and Cathy Mullin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
