Donald Dewey Trumbull Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Dewey Trumbull of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Donald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Donald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Trumbull and Ellen Trumbull (Main); his wife Beverly Topping; and his siblings, Bob Trumbull (Ellad) and Corrine Sauer (Nyle).

He is survived by: his children, Tracy Peterson (Gary) of Ventura, IA and Douglas Trumbull (Pam) of Norway, IA; and his grandchildren, Samantha Felton (Mike), Drew Trumbull (Kasey), Grant Peterson (Tasian) and Trudy Richards (Kellan). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
