She is survived by: her siblings, Karla Bascom of Hiawatha and Jim Bascom; her nieces and nephews, Rick Rathje (Rebel), Randy Rathje (Kim), Renee Ellsworth (Dan), Brad Bascom (Rachel) and Jamie Graves (Wayne); her pet Sammy; and her uncle Vernon Bascom of Vinton. She is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews; 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Newhall (310 2nd St E, Newhall, IA 52315). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery - Newhall 25th (310 2nd St E, Newhall, IA 52315). A reception was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Newhall (310 2nd St E, Newhall, IA 52315).
