She is survived by: her husband Melvin Simoens of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her children, Terry Simoens (Janelle Dietz) of Durant, Michael Simoens (Jackie) of Cedar Rapids, Krista Thompson of Van Horne and Keith Simoens (Kim) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandchildren, Tiffany Lympus (Jonny), Travis Thompson (Jaynee), Briana Steffens (Jason), Ryan Simoens (Megan), Tyler Simoens (Alison) and Kelsey Deutsch (Daylis); and her sisters, Shirley Bloom (Pete) of Missouri and Delores Christie of Arizona. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
