We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2022, at the age of 92, Dorothy Ransom of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Madison, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ryan and Hattie Ryan (Rake); her brother Robert Ryan; her daughter-in-law Kelly Ransom; and her sister-in-law Eileen Ryan.
She is survived by: her husband Sherill Ransom of Cedar Rapids; her sons, Michael Ransom (Karen) of Windsor, CO, Scott Ransom of Cedar Rapids, Shawn Ransom (Leigh) of Marion and Todd Ransom of Cedar Rapids; and her siblings, David Ryan of Madison, WI and Sister Clarita Ryan of Manitowoc, WI.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
