He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhardt Gemaehlich and Irma Gemaehlich; his siblings, Margaret Cowell, Janet Mueller and Leon; and his daughter Karen Wild.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; and his children, Deborah Sweeney, Signe Elliott, Nadine Pettit, Richard M. Reisner (Amy), Michelle Beaird (Terry) and David Reisner (Amy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
