It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Tracey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Weydert and Dolores Weydert; her husband John D. Tracey; her son Terry Tracey; her son-in-law Steve Sincox; her grandson Nathan Tracey; her siblings, Lois Laughlin (Allen), Jim Weydert (Donna) and Gery Weydert; and her in-laws, Lloyd Kramer, Irwin "Red" Horsfield, Jeanne Weydert, Judi Weydert, Kathy Weydert, Ronald Pitz, Jim Tracey, Carol Fuhs and Fritz Fuhs.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Tracey (Vickie), Michael Tracey (Debbie) of Roselle, IL and Colleen Sincox (Chris Dean) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her daughter-in-law Denise Tracey of Worthington, IA; her siblings, Joyce Horsfield, Janet Pitz, Marilyn Kettmann (John), Marlene Kramer, Jack Weydert, Tom Weydert (Donna), Dave Weydert, Jerome Weydert (Marty), Joe Weydert and Bill Weydert (Janice); and her sisters-in-law, Margie Phillips (Dick) and Fay Tracey. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren.
The family asks for no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of Terry Tracey, Essence of Life Hospice, or Riverbend Retirement Community.
