She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lehrman and Anna Lehrman (Luedeman); her husband Charles F. Wood; and her siblings, Erwin, Louis, Merle, Fredrick Lehrman and Pauline Lehrman.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Wood (Mary) of Cedar Rapids, Warren Wood (Tami) of Cedar Rapids, Gary Wood (Joni) of Cedar Rapids, Brett Wood (Mina) of Cedar Rapids and Lori Wood of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Zach (Laura), Elijah (Mette-Marie), Jacob (Casey), Jered (Sadie) and Hannah (Johnnie); and her brother-in-law David Wood of Tennessee. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (201 1st Ave, Hiawatha, IA 52233).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial fund to be established in Ellie's honor.
