He is survived by: his mother Rita Lavern Gavin (Dunne) of Dyersville; his siblings, Thad Gavin (Linda) of Cedar Rapids, Rodney Gavin (Donna Brown), Corlas Bildstein (Robert) of Dubuque, Randy Gavin (Brenda), Clay Gavin (Diane) of Cascade, Brian Gavin (Laura Boeckenstedt) of Worthington, DaRae Coughlin (Kevin) of Cross Plains and Amy Vorwald of Dyersville; and his friend Holly Hapgood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
