She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Geiger and Wilhelmina Geiger (Haldy); her spouse Carrol Olmstead; her sons, Jim Olmstead and Joel Olmstead; her son-in-law David Padget; her granddaughter Lindsay Olmstead; her great grandchild Evelyn Gibbs; and her siblings, Henry Geiger and Lila Geiger Olmstead.

She is survived by: her children, Tom Olmstead (Dixie) of Cedar Rapids, Steve Olmstead (Audrey) of Forrest City, Susan Padget of Swisher and Chris Scott (Ryan) of Beaman; her daughter-in-law Jo Anne Olmstead of Wabasha, MN; and her grandchildren, Brian Padget, Mike Olmstead, Brad Padget (Carrie), Stacy Heston (Steve), Jeff Olmstead, Jessica Gibbs (Jessica) of Sarah Olmstead, A. J., Amanda Ross (Jordan), Tim Olmstead and Jonathan Olmstead (Ashley). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and many loving nieces and nephews.
