It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Peter Joens Jr. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on July 7, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sr. Joens and Martha Joens (Kuncl); his brother George; his sister-in-law Kay; his brother Don; and his nephew Jason Joens.

He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughters, Lisa Guge (Mike), Kris Kleiman (Steve) and Molly Evans (Troy); his grandchildren, Kirby Guge (DoniRae), Paityn Evans (Alex) and Kennedy Evans; his brother Jim Joens (Karen); and his sister-in-law Terri Joens. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
