He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cernin and Mary Cernin (Silhanek); his wife Julie Kay Larson; his siblings, Richard and Marilyn; his brother-in-law Melvin Ledvina; his brother Wynn; his sister-in-law Joan Martz; his great-niece Micaela Townsend; and his nephew Pat Rupp.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Cernin (Becky), Andy Cernin and Stacy Cernin; his grandchildren, Taylor Cernin and Colin Cernin; and his sister-in-law Shirley Cernin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or St. Croix Hospice.
