We bid farewell to Freda C. (Blakey) Long of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 11, 2026 at the age of 92. Freda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Blakey, (Parkey) and Amity Blakey; and her husband Bob Long. She is survived by: her children, Edwin Montgomery of Cedar Rapids, Carole Long of Cedar Rapids and Theresa Long of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Anthony Montgomery (Brittany) and Octavia Cox; her great grandchildren, Achilleus Montgomery and Artemis Montgomery; and her brother Ronnie Blakey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
