He was predeceased by: his parents, Marty Dennis and Ben Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Karen Donohoe; his children, Dan Dennis (Donna), Lisa Atencio (Chris), Dave Dennis (Wendy), Shelly Dennis and Matt Dennis; and his siblings, Darrel Dennis (Kay) and Marcia Thomas (Gordon). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ludmila Catholic Church (211 21st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (375 32nd St Dr SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403).
