It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry Lamphier of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Strawberry Point, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ona Lamphier and Oscar Lamphier; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his former wife Pearl West; his sons, Jarrod (Joanne) of Lamont, IA and Kris (Margie) of Center Point, IA; his wife Cindy Hart of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, James, Kimberly (Tyler), Dylan, Jaklyn, Justin, Avery and Ashley; his great grandchild Presley; his sister Audrey Gamm (Dean) of Arlington, IA; his stepsons, Timothy Franks (Holly) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Matthew Franks of Cedar Rapids, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Magik, Legend, Gemma and Titus; and his stepdaughter Shayna Franks of Cedar Rapids, IA.
