He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bonnie Worny and Glenn Barry; and his parents, George Barry and Mary Barry (Repaja). He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Weyhgandt; his sons, Christopher Barry (Amanda) and Kyle Barry (Mallory Young); his granddaughters, Lacie and Aliyana; his siblings, Barbara McCoy, Susan Grajek and George Barry; and his niece Rachel Bowers.

Monetary donations will be given in Garry's memory to Veterans Casting Away Disabilities, a fishing trip he dearly enjoyed.
