He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rathje and Ida Mae Rathje (Peterson); and his wife René Rathje. He is survived by: his daughter Cassidy (Jesse); his grandchildren, Finley and Everett; his stepdaughter Alicia; his great grandchild Teigan; and his siblings, Bob (Mary), Ken (Jeanine), Steve, Debra (Roger) and Julie (Brian).
