He was predeceased by: his father Lincoln Allen; and his grandparents, Kent Burgess, John Allen, Lavern Benner, Jim Slauson, Valerie Kern and Carol Slauson.
He is survived by: his mother Sherri Benner (Slauson); his stepfather Brian Benner; his brother Drake Allen (Caitlyn); his niece Harper Allen; and his grandmother Patsy Benner. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the EFC-O Faith Discipleship Center, 305 6th Street NW, Oelwein, IA 50662, in honor of Gavin's life and the faith community that meant so much to him.
