It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gayla Rae Dvorak of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theresa "Tessie" Primrose (Brecht) and Dwayne Primrose; her sisters, Rozella Holland and Betty Newton; and her nephews, Keith Newton and Duce Holland.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Dvorak of Paul's Catholic Church; and her children, Darren Dvorak, Dawn Carrothers, Debbie Dvorak (Aaron Salandro) and Denise Younke (Matt Robinson). She is also survived by several grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Norway Legion (210 South St, Norway, IA 52318).
