He was predeceased by: his brothers, James and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Vija McDill of San Antonio, Texas; his former wife Anne McDill (Donnelly) of Cedar Rapids; his children, Don McDill (Chelsey) of Cedar Rapids, Diane Van Wyk (Terry) of Cedar Rapids and David McDill (Sandi) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his stepson Egan Little (Amy) of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Zach McDill (Rachael), Ashley Bunger (Nate), Max McDill, Karissa Lockhart, Hannah, Colin and Faith McDill; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Davis (Ryan), Marissa Ackerson (Gabe), Elizabeth and Matthew Little; his great grandchildren, Easton, William and Kaiden Bunger; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kelly Davis, Ashlynn, Briar and Aubree Ackerson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart association in memory of George.
