He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Fields and Ruth Fields (Kimbrough); and his siblings, Doug Fields, Bonnie Miller, Shirley Lauterbach, Evelyn Weaver and Cheryl Hootman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Fields of Victor, Shelly Canfield of Cedar Rapids and Carrie Ewing (Shane) of Vinton; his grandchildren, Alexis Clymer (Grant Weaver), Daisy Clymer, Johnny Clymer, Ellie Canfield, Lillian Canfield, Grant Ewing, Clark Ewing and Anthony Ewing; his great grandchildren, Walter, Jack and Franklin Weaver; his siblings, Lois Frisk, Louise Pierce, Carol Rawson, Penny Zeller, Pauline Hanson and Mike Fields; and his former wives, Carol Pretz of Cedar Rapids and Jan Nunemaker-Hanks of Cedar Rapids.
