He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" William and Ann Christina FitzGerald (George); and his siblings, Marie Karl, John "Jack" FitzGerald and Thomas "Tommy" FitzGerald.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his sisters, Claire FitzGerald of Yonkers and Anne Waterman of Venice, Florida; his children, Karen Randklev (Bob) of Punta Gorda, Deb FitzGerald (Chris Mitchell) of Chicago and James FitzGerald (Holly) of Cedar Rapids; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Randklev (Riley), Derek Randklev and Raelyn FitzGerald.
