With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Fenton of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Vanter and Majorie Vanter; and her spouse Marcene Fenton. She is survived by: her daughter Annette; her son-in-law Chris Petersen; her grandchildren, Christopher Lindo (Courtney) and Stephanie Stokes (Nick); her sister Karen Kuehl (Neal); and her brother-in-law Eldon Fenton (Sue).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In leu of flowers, memorials can be made to St Croix Hospice.
