We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2022, at the age of 89, Gloria Fagan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Denis Maher (Bud) and Jane Lane Maher; her brothers, Denis, Dick (Dick), John, Bill and Jim; and her siblings-in-law, James, Doris, Eileen and Catherine (Don).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Joseph Fagan; her sister-in-law Rosemary Maher; her children, Janie Mills, Tom (Cindy Fagan), Mike (Sally Fagan), Cathy (John Downey), Jim Fagan, Dennis (Melissa Fagan), Diane (Doug Ropp), Susie Klinkhammer and Brian Fagan; her grandchildren, Katie, Matt Giorgio, Joe Mills, Andy Mills, Laura Didier, Maggie, Matt Ireland, Dan Fagan, Sarah King, Mollie Fagan, Spencer Stater, Patrick, Allison Fagan, Kara Fagan, Sean Fagan, Kevin Fagan, Erin Fagan, Kelli Downey, Ryan Tinker, Anne, Yev Fastovskiy, Joe Downey, Emily Downey, Will Downey, Tom Downey, Casey Fagan, Eileen, Kevin Walsh, Michael, Brigid Ropp, Brian Ropp, Katy Ropp, Matthew Ropp, Jack Klinkhammer, Emma Klinkhammer, Connor Klinkhammer and Caroline Klinkhammer; and her great grandchildren, Tom, Lucy Giorgio, Frank, Oscar, Gloria Jane Ireland, Wyatt, Cain Fagan-Stater, Annabelle Fagan, Leo, Francisco Downey-Tinker, Lena, Coen and Calvin Fastovskiy. She is also survived by many extended family members, including cousins, nieces and nephews and their families, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, St. Matthew Church, or the Sisters of Mercy.
