She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertina Buraas (Erickson) and Gilbert Buraas; her husband Don; her son-in-law Steve Weston; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Jr., Loretta Wilson, Letha, Art Miller, Jean, Jim Ackley, Robert Wilson and Areleta Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Weston of Ft. Myers, Pam Musel of Alburnett, DeElta Fay (Peter) of Adair, Nanette Waddilove (Tim) of Cedar Rapids and Julie Morningstar (Greg) of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Jason Musel (Christy) of Cedar Rapids, Katie Magoon (Rich) of Alburnett, Eric Weston (Stephanie) of Ft. Myers, Tiffany Fay of Adair, Bridget Waddilove of Cedar Rapids, Matt Waddilove (Shannon) of Argyle, Grace Morningstar of Coralville and Mary Morningstar of Iowa City, Iowa. She is also survived by 12 loving great-grandchildren: and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (153 Cherry Hill Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the God's Acres Cemetery - Clermont Canoe.
