He is survived by: his son Jaime Hymer of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Edwin Hymer (Margaret) of Norwalk, Lois Holst (Roger) of Pine Island and Marjorie Wolfgeher of Independence, Missouri; and his pets, Soldier and Petey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
