She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lavender and Maggie Lavender (Owens); her husband Raymond G. Bonebrake, Sr.; and her stepsons, Roger Brubaker, David Brubaker and Richard Lee Bonebrake.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Brubaker (Debra) of Plano, Texas, Ling-Ling, Raymond G. Bonebrake, Jr. (Barbara) of New Sharon, Iowa, Rex Bonebrake (Jackie) of Marietta, Georgia and Sean Bonebrake (Aimee) of Tipton, Iowa; her sisters, Barbara Roland (Don) of Clemmons, N. C., Joyce Nettles of Nebo, N. C. and Mary Sue Sigmon of Nebo, N. C.; her friends, Ruth Hinder, Nate, Marie Rompot, Cliff, Deb Voelker and June Chesley; Mark. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302).
