With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Coppock of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hartin and Nora Hartin (Simmons); her husband Melvin Coppock; and her son Mark. She is survived by: her children, Loren Coppock (Patti) of Cedar Rapids, Marsha Plimpton (Herb) of San Francisco, CA and Julie Stepanek (Jim) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, John Coppock (Emily) of Manhasset, NY, Kate Middleton (Jack) of Iowa City, IA, Ryan Hallerud (Leticia) of San Francisco, CA, Sean Hallerud (Sylvie) of New York, NY, Trisha McClure (Jeff) of Waukee, IA, Michelle Hanifin (Patrick) of Madison, WI and Peter Stepanek of Durham, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Kevin Doyle (Denise) of Denver, CO, Michael Doyle of Cedar Rapids and Jennie Benke (Kenny) of Marion, IA; her caregivers, Terri, Avery, Sherry, Raina, Makayla, Annika and Jenna; Mary Coppock of Marion, IA. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
